We're so glad you stopped by. Dennis and Susan Dunning are new to Virginia. Originally from Michigan they moved to the high dessert of Arizona where they did miles and miles of open trail riding. They purchased a beautiful Unionville farm in 2020. Their daughter and her family also moved to Virginia in 2020. They also have grandchildren who visit from Tennessee and Texas, so you will see three generations at the farm.

Dennis has had a love for horses for as long as he can remember. He grew up riding with his family in Michigan. He was an equine veterinarian for ten years before changing careers to human medicine. He is now a cardiologist at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Susan has a gift of hospitality. She is managing Double D Farms and creating a peaceful environment for horse owners with the place they call their horse's home. 

We are always striving to make Double D Farms an excellent facility.
